Love Empire Environmental Sustainability Policy

Effective date: August 2026
Review date: August 2027

Love Empire is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its operations while continuing to provide a reliable and professional service.

This policy applies to Love Empire, Effortlessly Wed, Love Empire Method, and contractors and suppliers working directly on our behalf.

Our practices

Love Empire will:

  • Use electronic agreements, invoices, questionnaires, planning resources and client communication wherever practical.

  • Print only when legally required, requested for accessibility or needed as an essential backup.

  • Use video and phone meetings to reduce unnecessary travel.

  • Group in-person appointments by location where practical.

  • Use solar power and LED lighting within the home office.

  • Recycle paper, cardboard, eligible containers and printer cartridges.

  • Use rechargeable batteries and reusable ceremony equipment.

  • Choose recycled, refillable or low-packaging products where suitable.

  • Reuse, repair or purchase second-hand equipment where this doesn’t affect safety or professional presentation.

  • Support local small businesses and suppliers where practical.

  • Avoid bringing unnecessary disposable styling or materials into natural ceremony locations.

  • Follow venue, council and land-management requirements when working in public and environmentally sensitive spaces.

Working with others

Contractors and suppliers working with Love Empire will be given access to this policy and encouraged to reduce waste, avoid unnecessary printing and respect the environmental requirements of every ceremony location.

Couples will be directed to the environmental conditions set by venues, councils or land managers where these apply to their ceremony.

Review and improvement

Love Empire will review this policy annually and consider practical improvements as technology, services and business operations change.

Environmental choices will be balanced with legal obligations, accessibility needs, safety and the quality of service provided to couples.
