OR simnply click the green ACEEPT QUOTE button on the quote, pay the booking fee, sign the service agreement, and we’re off on a love journey which will be so damn special, we may want to stay in each others lives way past the wedding!
WHAT DO you need to bring to our meeting once you have locked me in?
When we meet up to sign your first legal document, The Notice of Intention to Marry form, by zoom or in person, I will need to identify you and verify your birth place, so please bring along your Passports if you have one, or alternatively you Birth certificates plus Drivers Licences as I have to formally identify you (with 100 points) in order to lodge your Notice of Intent to Marry and to ensure you are who you say you are. If you have been previously married we will also need to sight any certificates you have which prove the termination/dissolution/legal ending of your previous marriage.
do you need to lodge any legal forms?
Nope! That’s my job and included in the fee, I GOT YOU!
I’ll guide you through all of the legal documents required to get you married, and will retain them, triple check them and send them all off to Births, Death and Marriages in the days following your wedding as legally required by celebrants.
when do I arrive and leave on the big day?
I aim to arrive at your ceremony 30-45 minutes prior to your ceremony start time. This allows me time to set up my equipment, start your pre-ceremony music if required, check in with you both, and any vendors on site and start greeting your guests as they arrive.
Upon completion of your ceremony, I’ll slowly pack up, allow you some space with your favourite people and then come give you a big squeeze congratulations, thank you for inviting me to be a part of you day, and leave your marriage certificate and vow cards with a trusted loved one or wedding co-ordinator.
how long should you allow for your ceremony?
The length of your ceremony can be as long or and short as you wish, depending on what you would like to include or leave out. On average I’d suggest allowing 25-30 minutes max for the full she-bang style wedding! 5 minutes for a legal’s only style and 20 minutes for an elopement or micro wedding.
can I play your ceremony music?
My PA system certainly can - But not me personally as my hands and brain are so full on your wedding day ensuring I get you legally married and bring all the feels, so I do ask you to provide someone to do the musical honours, or for a small fee we can bring along a music roadie if requested.
If you nominate a trusted and cool, calm, collected family member or friend who can get the job done, I’'ll hook them up and talk them through it pre-ceremony.
Best bet is though - hire a professional - your DJ or Musician will be able to sort this out for you no doubt.
how many songs will you need for the ceremony?
2 Aisle songs if you have a wedding party, or just the one if it’s just you making an entrance.
2 songs if you’d like to sign the legal documents during the ceremony.
JUST MARRIED - Exit song - One banger to celebrate what just went down! Then your DJ or venue music should kick in to provide the vibe while I pack down and come give you a squeeze.
I also suggest to have a pre-ceremony playlist sorted to create atmosphere and set the tone for your wedding as soon as your guests start arriving! I do have pre-ceremony play lists if you would prefer me to pop one on for you.
please tell me you’re LGBTIQA+ friendly and support marriage equality?
ABSOLUTELY!!!! My services are available to ALL couples and I support and celebrate all love and commitment, welcoming of all Lovers who wish to be legally wed!
And TBH - if you’re not - i”m probably not the celebrant for you!
do i travel for love?
I certainly do! Just mention the location of your ceremony when you click on the ‘GET IN TOUCH’ button and your quote will include the travel fee!
Who can be your witnesses?
Anyone you choose provided they are 18 years or over. Can’t decide who to choose? Let’s do a lucky witness lotto / raffle during the ceremony to see who the lucky two winners will be!
WILL I HELP YOU WITH WRITING YOUR VOWS?
